2009 Raffle to Benefit Whippet Rescue and Placement (WRAP)

Daisy Mae is needle-felted, made especially for WRAP by Veronica (Vee) Dooling. Each dog Vee makes is about 4 to 6 inches in size. It is needle-sculpted from wool and is not stuffed or sewn. It is 100% wool throughout.
Needle felting is the art of taking wool that has been washed, carded and sometimes dyed, and using only a special barbed needle to poke the wool into shape. It can take up to 1000 pokes and 8 to 12 hours time to create one needle-felted item. These are truly One-of-a-Kind-Creations!
Raffle Item #3:
Item #3 is a hand-crafted quilt, made especially for WRAP by AWC President and WRAP advocate Cindy Scott. The quilt measures 42" x 52", and can either grace your wall, be used as a lap quilt, or for cuddling with a beloved Whippet!
