Donations

Whippet Rescue and Placement is incorporated as a not-for-profit 501(C)3 organization. As such, all donations are fully tax deductible.

As with so many things now, the expenses for rescue are continually rising. Veterinary expenses frequently exceed the amount we ask for adopting a Whippet, and we welcome any contribution you can make.

Unless you request anonymity, an announcement of your contribution, along with your name, will be published in the American Whippet Club's monthly newsletter.
A Tribute Contribution allows you to honor a person or pet with a gift to help rescue Whippets. Request a contribution to WRAP instead of gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, or holidays. All tributes will appear in the AWC newsletter. At the time you make your donation, you can provide information specific to the person or pet you wish to honor.
A Memorial Contribution is a way to honor the life of an animal lover or beloved pet. Sometimes families like to request memorial donations in lieu of flowers. Memorial contributions will be acknowledged in the AWC newsletter, unless otherwise requested, and with a card to the family.
