Managing Your Whippet-Rescue Email

To change your email address if you have a Yahoo ID:
Go to the Yahoo Whippet-Rescue website.
Sign in to Yahoo if you're not already signed in.
At the top of the page, you'll see the Yahoo! Groups logo and "Welcome (Yahoo ID)" Click on the "My account" link.
You'll have to verify your password, then you will be taken to your account information page.
On the Member Information line, click EDIT.
You'll be able to add or change your email address.
Be sure to click FINISHED at the bottom of the page.
Back on your account information page, click FINISHED again.
Go back to the Whippet-Rescue page.
Click on "Edit my membership."
Change your email address in the dropdown menu.
Follow Yahoo's instructions for verifying your new address.
(If you are a member of other Yahoo groups, you can change your address for all of them at once by going to the My Groups page and clicking on EDIT MY GROUPS.)

To change your email address if you don't have a Yahoo ID:
You'll have to unsubscribe from the list from your old address and resubscribe from your new one.

From your old address, send a blank email to:
whippet-rescue-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com

From your new address, send a blank email to:
whippet-rescue-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

If you've already changed addresses and can't send mail from the old one any more, just send the subscribe email from your new address and contact the moderator to let her know you've changed addresses.

To change your email delivery to digest format:
You can change your options to receive digests of 25 posts just once or twice a day. Send a blank e-mail to
whippet-rescue-digest@yahoogroups.com.

To set your email delivery to no-mail:
To stop your e-mail entirely, send a blank e-mail to whippet-rescue-nomail@yahoogroups.com. You can use this option when you're going out of town for several days. If you're a Yahoo member, you can keep the list set to no-mail and read the messages on the website. Just go to the Whippet-Rescue website and click on MESSAGES.

To re-set your mail to receive individual e-mails:
send a blank e-mail to
whippet-rescue-normal@yahoogroups.com.

All of these functions can also be performed at the Whippet-Rescue website at Yahoo.
