Adoption
Application - - PDF Format - print and mail to the WRAP Rescuer nearest you If you are interested in adopting a whippet or have one to surrender, contact the rescuer nearest you. Please allow at least 48 hours for a response before contacting another rescuer. Remember that WRAP volunteers are just that: volunteers! They have jobs, families and lives outside of rescue, so may not be able to respond to inquiries immediately. If you have not heard back from any rescuer in your state after a week, contact the regional advisor (the last listing under each state). This roster is kept current; if you find an address bouncing or a phone out of order, please let the regional advisor know. WRAP members
are networked and share information about the dogs available,
so you don't have to contact all the rescuers in your state. If
you would like to be put on a waiting list, click on the adoption
application above, print it out, and mail the completed form
to your nearest rescuer. If there is no mailing address listed,
email or phone the rescuer to ask for it. You can also fill out
the email application instead,
though you'll need to provide a signed copy before a rescue dog
can be released to you. To use the e-mail form, copy and paste it into an e-mail, and send the application to the rescuer
nearest you.
